This letter was printed on our fundraiser’s letter head, and sent to Nick Evenson. He helped our fundraiser in a major way, and it was paramount that we gave him the proper thanks. A large part of advertising is connecting with people, and showing gratitude is a great way of showing that you care about them. We were thrilled by the generosity of Nick, and I was honored to be given the chance to properly thank him. I worked closely with my professor, Drew Scheler, to ensure that the Thank You was very high quality.
Dear Nick Evenson,
On behalf of Drew Scheler’s English 306 class, we would like to thank you for sponsoring our fundraiser. The nacho bar, and raffle prizes that you generously provided were key components of creating a successful fundraiser.
Because of your generosity, we were able to exceed our funding goals. We set out to raise $x.xx, and we were able to raise $x.xx solely from the raffle at Dale’s. The money from the raffle will go directly to funding a day of paid time off for a Brown County Community Gardens coordinator. This is a benefit that she has not had been granted previously. It makes us very happy to be able to give her some much needed time to refresh.
With your help, we were able to lay the groundwork, and follow through with a fundraiser to be proud of. A study finds that, in community gardening, each dollar spent grows to become $4.74 worth of value. This means that your donations are even more impactful than you may have thought. This Fall we raised a grand total of $x.xx!
We are proud of the impact we have created on the people of Brown County, and are very thankful for the help that you provided to us in our funding efforts.
